MIC deputy president M Saravanan said the party did not attend the Barisan Nasional candidate announcement ceremony last night because its members were busy with preparations for the upcoming general election.<br /><br />He said potential candidates were busy making preparations in their respective constituencies.<br /><br />He spoke to reporters today before attending the party's central working committee meeting at its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.<br /><br />Yesterday it was reported that the BN component party is considering not fielding any candidates at all in GE15.<br /><br />MIC president SA Vigneswaran told Malaysiakini that the party will hold an emergency to discuss the matter.
