The Washington Post should check their own data *before* they blame teens for everything.

American society is used to blaming teenagers for everything.<br /><br />87% of Mass Shooters are over 21. That's according to the Washington Post's own data. <br />So of course they blame young people for mass shootings. <br />They tout a very popular proposal which would, ideally, maybe help prevent less than 1 in 10 of these horrific events. <br />Punishing teens is not the answer. Bigotry is not the solution. <br /><br />The stupidity of their article is fierce. <br /><br />Accusing our young people of having deficient brains is vile AF. <br /><br />According to the Washington Post 72% of mass shooters are over 25.<br />Less than half of mass shooters are under 30.<br /> <br />Age discrimination can at best address a tiny fraction of the problem. <br /> <br />Why couldn't the Washington Post spend 5 minutes looking at the numbers?<br />
