BN’s incumbent Arau MP Shahidan Kassim and incumbent Maran MP Ismail Abd Mutalib, who are defending their seats under the PN ticket, have not joined PAS, according to party secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan.<br /><br />"We issue the appointment letter to candidates allowing them to use the PN ticket under the PAS quota.<br /><br />"They have yet to become PAS members.
