PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli has accused the caretaker government of trying to bulldoze awarding contracts worth billions of ringgit for cronies.<br /><br />He said this is despite a Treasury circular saying the caretaker government must avoid entering into contractual commitments or undertakings that would have financial implications on the next government.<br /><br />"In the heat of GE15, the people may not be aware that we are facing a huge risk of projects worth billions being approved and awarded by the caretaker government," Rafizi said in a statement today.<br /><br />The Pandan candidate said one case involves the Environment and Water Ministry and flood mitigation projects.<br /><br />Malaysiakini has contacted the company involved in the flood mitigation projects for a response to Rafizi's allegations.
