Outgoing Tanjong Karang MP Noh Omar says he has not started campaigning in the constituency for BN candidate Habibah Mohd Yusof because it is considered a safe seat for the party.<br /><br />Malaysiakini has learned that Habibah is also facing internal rejection from local Umno members who are more attached to Noh Omar, who served for six terms since 1995.<br /><br />Since the Tanjong Karang Umno Women's chief was named to replace Noh, many of the party grassroots members have openly expressed their grievances against the decision.
