A recent update to CS:GO introduce "Trusted Mode", a new feature designed to prevent the game from launching while third-part applications are running. In theory, it's designed to reduce the possibility of hackers running cheats while playing the game.<br /><br />In practice, things don't seem to have worked out so well.
