In June 2020, G2 Esports claimed the CSGO world number one ranking for the first time in the organization's history.<br /><br />The first line-up to accomplish this feat wasn't the French super-team that G2 once housed, however, but an international line-up helmed by Serbian in-game leader Nemanja "nexa" Isaković.<br /><br />Brought in alongside former CR4ZY teammate HuNter, Nexa's addition was designed to revolutionize a G2 that had long struggled to live up to its billing.
