Apparently, playing in the first division on your favorite team can be real hell for some people, or at least it was for Ted Smith.<br />He was Southend’s goalkeeper and, although he had shone in England’s second division and made a direct leap to sign with Mourinho’s Tottenham, he decided to retire at the young age of 24.<br />What the hell happened to him while he was at his peak that made him never want to see a ball again?
