Cristiano Ronaldo put his recent woes with his club Manchester United to one side, as he and his Portugal team-mates arrived in Doha, Qatar on Friday ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.<br />Ronaldo criticised United manager Erik ten Hag and the Old Trafford hierarchy during a recent interview, and it is now understood 'The Red Devils' are currently exploring their legal options to bring the 37-year-old's second spell at the club to a premature end.<br />Fernando Santos' side begin their World Cup Group H campaign against Ghana on Thursday, with matches against Uruguay and South Korea to follow.<br />Portugal's best finish at the World Cup was third place in England 1966 and they, more recently, came fourth in Germany 2006.
