Incredible pictures show one of Britain's largest Amazon depots preparing for Black Friday - in a warehouse the size of 17 football pitches.<br /><br />The depot, in Dunfermline, Fife, stretches more than 1.5million square feet and has a whopping has three miles of conveyors.<br /><br />Items waiting to be packaged by workers could be seen stacked floor to ceiling.<br /><br />Hundreds of seasonal staff will join the permanent workforce which is around 1,200 people strong.<br /><br />The site - dubbed EDI4 internally after Edinburgh Airport - has 5,900 solar panels, generating the equivalent amount of electricity needed to power 320 homes per year.<br /><br />Black Friday deals started on November 18 and end on November 28.
