Paro airport is considered as one of the most challenging airport in the world for the commercial jetliners to land. <br />The airport is located at an altitude of 7364 feet above mean sea level with runway elevation of 7362 feet and 7310 feet respectively for runway 15 and runway 33. <br />The runway length is 7431 feet ( 2265 meters) and width is about 30 meters which just covers the minimum runway width required by ICAO.
