In celebration of the Lung Cancer Awareness Month, the Department of Health-Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH-MMCHD) together with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Manila City Government, Action on Smoking & Health (ASH) Philippines and Asia Pacific Cities Alliance for Health and Development (APCAT) launch Smoke-Free Manila Bay at Manila Baywalk on November 29, 2022. Its goal is to champion and advocate to the public a breathable environment where they can here they can healthily enjoy and safely spend leisure time, in smoke-free zones such as the Dolomite Beach.
