A barge operating in the Gulf of Paria capsized this morning while six people were on board.<br /><br />The barge owned and operated by the Trinity Group of Companies, has since sunk to the ocean floor.<br /><br />All of the employees were evacuated safely before the barge was fully submerged.<br /><br />And the Ministry of Energy says a salvage and oil-spill mitigation operation is underway.<br /><br />Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh tells us more.
