100,000 Without Power <br />in North Carolina, After 'Targeted' Attack , on Substations.<br />Local and energy officials in Moore County, NC, informed residents that power could be out until Dec. 8.<br />The announcement follows what appears to be a coordinated gun-attack targeting two power substations on Dec. 3.<br />Low temperatures and dark roads led officials to institute a curfew for the region.<br />Officers have been called <br />in to assist.
