December 4, 2022 the people of Lumajang-East Java were again panicked by Mount Semeru who experienced another cough (eruption) after a year ago also experiencing the same thing. but this time it was more prepared even though there was panic because the government had evacuated the village with bedol (moving all villagers) whose villages were directly affected so as to minimize casualties.
