Det Ch Insp Dave Whellams, who led the investigation said: “Jordan McSweeney can only really be described as as sexual predator, a loner and a man with a single determination to stalk women.<br /><br />“We know that night Zara was at least the fifth woman that he pursued but there could have been more.<br /><br />“The sentence that he got reflects the seriousness of the crime.<br /><br />“Nothing can be done to bring Zara back but the substantial sentence shows the seriousness and the determination of the Metropolitan police to bring people like Jordan McSweeney to justice."<br />
