Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on January 10 talked about the Uniform Civil Code. <br /><br />Pushkar Singh Dhami who had announced to implement the UCC in Uttarakhand ahead of the previous assembly election said that he welcomes Supreme Court’s decision.<br /><br />Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “Our decision to implement the Uniform Civil Code was constitutional. <br /><br />Today, the top court of the country has also considered it constitutional. I welcome this decision. Our committee is working on it, will make a draft soon and Uttarakhand state will implement it.”
