Gourmets call marinated onion baked in oven a real delicacy. Juicy and tender, with a special piquant taste, baked onion will be an unusual and very delicious appetizer or side dish for your family or holiday dinner. <br /><br />✅ Ingredients:<br />• 9 big salad onion<br />• butter – 3 oz /80 g<br />• water – 1 cup /250 ml<br />• red wine vinegar – 1 cup /250 ml<br />• brown sugar – 4 tbsp<br />• rosemary – 2 tbsp<br />• salt – 1 tsp<br />• ground black pepper- 1 tsp<br />• red chili pepper – ½ tsp<br /><br />✅ You will need:<br />• carving board<br />• deep baking dish<br />• oven<br /><br />Preparation:<br />1. Cut off 1 cm of onions from root side and 2 cm from upper side. <br />2. Pour the water and vinegar into the baking dish, add the salt, 3 tbsp of sugar, black and red pepper, 3 tbsp of rosemary. <br />3. Stir until full melting of sugar. <br />4. Lay the prepared onions into the marinade upper sides down. <br />5. Put into the fridge for 12 hours. <br />6. Take the dish with the onions out of the fridge and turn the onions upper sides above. Put a piece of butter on each onion and sprinkle all with 1 tbsp of rosemary. <br />7. Preheat oven to 350°F /180°C and bake the onion for 40 minutes. <br />8. Take the baking dish out the oven and sprinkle evenly the onions with 1 tbsp of sugar. <br />9. Put the dish again into the oven and bake the gold onions for 10 minutes more, serve the dish hot.
