Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma drove to Athe state zoo on January 15. <br /><br />The chief minister spent time with animals and birds from close proximity and fed the macaws at the zoo. <br /><br />Himanta Sarma also interacted with the zoo authorities and enquired about the ongoing work. He also asked the authorities to give a facelift to the zoo, while maintaining harmony with the existing flora and fauna.
