Hundreds of birds were reportedly injured during the kite-flying festival in Vadodara amid Makar Sankranti celebrations. The birds were rescued by an NGO. <br /><br />The founder of ‘Just Call Save Animals’ (NGO) said, “In the last two days, we rescued and gave treatment to 250-300 birds. This started in December month and since then we rescued more than 300 birds.”<br /><br />"Various species of birds are seen but the most noticed one is the pigeon,” he added.
