Students on January 20 staged a protest against the transport department at Mandya KSRTC bus stand. Students demanded additional bus services to reach Mandya through Malavalli, Dugganahalli and Kadukothanahalli routes. Students raged against the authorities.<br />Later, KSRTC Divisional Controller N Nagaraju visited the place and accepted the appeal of the students. <br />
