A plan for the establishment of wind farms for the supply of electricity in this country was announced by the Prime Minister at the Energy Conference at the Hyatt Regency hotel.<br /><br />However, it seems that while both the Prime Minister and the President of Guyana agree that there is need to focus on renewable energy, there is still a long future for oil and natural gas in this region.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
