Cristiano Ronaldo was taunted with chants for his rival Lionel Messi by opposition fans ahead of Al-Nassr's Saudi Super Cup semi-final defeat to Al-Ittihad.<br /><br />The 37-year-old superstar failed to score his first goal for the Saudi side again, after also blanking on his official debut on the weekend.<br /><br />Ronaldo was a peripheral figure in Al-Nassr's defeat and footage has emerged of the Al-Ittihad fans chanting: 'Messi, Messi, Messi'.<br /><br />The former Manchester United star almost opened his account for Al-Nassr with a powerful close-range header but he was denied by a smart save.<br /><br /><br />Ronaldo has managed just one shot on target across both appearances for Al-Nassr.<br /><br />And now, the Portuguese star, who has been treated like royalty since making his sensational move to the Middle East, has to contend with chants about his rival.<br /><br />It comes after Ronaldo and Messi met for what may have been the last time at the iconic King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh last week.<br /><br />Messi's touring PSG side faced a Saudi All-Star XI - which Ronaldo captained - in a glamour friendly.<br /><br />It was Messi's PSG who came out on top 5-4 - with the Argentine netting within a few minutes. However, Ronaldo triumphed on a personal level, firing in a brace on his debut in Saudi Arabia.<br /><br />Ronaldo is yet to score in Al-Nassr colors and he will be hoping that he can change that soon.<br /><br />The Portugal striker completed his outrageous £175m-a-year move to Al-Nassr at the end of December following a bitter end to his Man United career. ..
