How to Check if your PC Supports UEFI or EFI on Windows 10 or 8?<br /><br />If you recently purchased a computer or laptop and want to know whether it has UEFI or EFI, here is how to do it.<br /><br />First, open File Explorer or Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows + E keyboard shortcut or another method you prefer to use.<br /><br />Then, open the Windows installation drive (usually, it’s a “C” drive).<br /><br />Here, locate and double-click on the Windows folder.<br /><br />Under the Windows folder, locate and double-click on the Panther folder.<br /><br />Under the Panther folder, locate the file setupact file and right-click on it.<br /><br />Select Open with.<br /><br />Then, select Notepad or Wordpad in the context menu.<br /><br />Next, click on the OK button to open the file.<br /><br />In the file setupact file, press the Ctrl + F keyboard shortcut and type Detected Boot Environment.<br /><br />Then, click on the Find Text button.<br /><br />At the end of the Detected Boot Environment, BIOS or UEFI, or EFI will appear.<br /><br />That's it.<br /><br />Don't forget to like, share and comment on this video.<br /><br />Let me know via comment how this video is.<br /><br />Do you like more videos, subscribe to our channel, @GearUpWindows .<br /><br />#windows #windows10 #uefi #gearupwindows #risewindows
