Acting top cop Earla Christopher seems set to become the country's first female Commissioner of Police.<br /><br /><br />Hers was the only name on an Order of Merit List which was handed to President Paula Mae-Weekes by the Police Service Commission today for submission to the Parliament.<br /><br />And the Leader of the House tells our Political Editor Juhel Browne that the matter will be debated by the House of Representatives later this week.
