A cold snap in Texas has left at least six people dead and 340,000 without power while thousands of flights were cancelled as runways turned into skating rinks.<br /><br />The wintry conditions have left much of the state dealing with the fallout of the unusually low temperatures.<br /><br />Thousands have been left without power and at least 2,300 flights were grounded causing travel chaos.<br /><br />Footage shows the extent of the cold weather with one homeowner documenting the amount of icicles on their balcony in the neighbourhood of Round Rock.<br /><br />The bad weather has resulted in at least six people dying and 340,000 without power and the National Weather Service has predicted that the cold snap will last until Thursday.<br /><br />The footage was captured on February 1.
