A suspected gas explosion at a house in Merthyr Tydfil has left 5 people in hospital. 2 teenagers had non-life threatening serious injuries, which has meant neighbours were evacuated from their homes, as an investigation takes place into the cause of the problem. <br /><br />Plaid Cymru have suggested people pay more income tax to help the NHS through an ‘unprecedented crisis’. Plaid suggested a 1p increase on earnings over £12,500, 2p over 50 thousand and 3p over £150 thousand. Labour has rejected the calls, saying people are already struggling enough. <br /><br />Senior Pembrokeshire councillor Alec Cormack has been accused of a data breach after creating an online poll which could have led to members votes being tracked. A number of members refused to vote on the issue, which were for plans for future budget cuts.
