The two Gorbals Boys statues that were reported as stolen have been located, abandoned on a railway embankment. <br /><br />Police launched an investigation on Monday the 6th of February after two of the three bronze figures were reported missing from Cumberland Street.<br /><br />It appears they were cut at the leg before being removed.<br /><br />Next up, Glasgow City Council is planning to implement a city wide 20 miles per hour speed limit to boost road safety and encourage active travel.<br /><br />This will be delivered over an eighteen month period and will support the city’s climate plan. <br /><br />And in other news, Glasgow’s Silverburn shopping centre has banned dogs following a dog-friendly trial.<br /><br />The retail hub announced on social media that they’d made the decision following a full review of customer and store feedback, and concluded that their human guests must be made priority . <br />
