Delays for football fans heading to Celtic park for the Scottish Cup match with St Mirren avoided today following a fire at a nearby recycling centre on Wednesday.<br /><br />Emergency services rushed to Nuneaton Street in Bridgeton on Wednesday after they received reports of an early morning fire.<br /><br />Crews are still on the scene today to dampen the blaze but surrounding roads have been opened and major congestion avoided.<br /><br />Police said: "We continue to support the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as it manages the fire in Nuneaton Street. As a result road closures in the area remain in place.
