Demolition crews have moved in to tear down The Postings in Kirkcaldy to make way for a new housing development.<br />It famously hit the headlines when its previous owners put it up for auction with a £1 price tag, sparking BBC's One Show to send former Generation Game star, Isla St Clair, to town to revisit the site of the supermarket she opened back in 1980.<br />The building was bought at auction for £310,000 and the site will be levelled ahead of plans for a major housing development.<br />
