In this cinematic music production you will experience the story scene by scene, illustrated with beautiful sand paintings by De Zandtovenaar (Gert van der Vijver, know from the Dutch tv show 'Kerst met De Zandtovenaar'). <br /><br />In 2017 I started creating 'The Fantasy Rhapsody' after my nomination for the 'Prinses Christina Compositie Concours', with a composition for singing and piano.<br />‘The Fantasy Rhapsody’ tells the story of a girl who’s called by sirens and lured into a fantasy world. After many adventures she’s not willing to go back to her own world, but she has to. A voice speaks to her: she’s stronger than she thinks she is. At the end you hear the theme song ‘Safe and strong’. This applies to many people in difficult times. It’s based on a time during my childhood when I was very ill. I was thrown back into my own fantasy world, where I felt safe and strong. Imagination and music gave me a lot of positivity as a child and it still does! <br /><br />‘The Fantasy Rhapsody’ (complete track) is available on the platforms for streaming. <br />The different tracks have their own title and these are also all available as an album.<br /><br />I'm Mireya Derksen, 22.
