Terrifying footage shows the moment a police car was rammed off a motorway at 70mph as two thugs filmed a high speed chase from a stolen van.<br /><br />Robert Wingate, 24, and Deimantas Palaima, 19, caused more than £100,000 of damage to four police vehicles during the dangerous pursuit along the M1.<br /><br />Officers followed the van onto the motorway in Nottinghamshire after being alerted to a Mercedes Sprinter, which had been stolen from an address in Sheffield.<br /><br />Police attempted to stop the the van, which was also on cloned plates, in the early hours of December 2, 2021 - but the vehicle accelerated away at speed.
