Online digital banking has brought so much convenience in our everyday lives, but it also exposed us to the risk of frauds and scams.<br /><br />According to the police, a total of 71,833 scams were reported from 2020 till May 2022 raking in a total of RM5.3 billion. Surely it has increased tremendously since then!<br /><br />Be it RM300, RM30,000 or even RM300,000 - every single cent matters. Paranoia and anxiety to use digital banking and transactions have spread.<br /><br />What has been done to curb this problem? What are the authorities and stakeholders doing to mitigate the problem?<br /><br />And ultimately, how can we protect ourselves and our loved ones from these fraudsters?<br />
