MP Jerome Mayhew rattled off a long list of constituencies which support the call for a new hospital in King's Lynn to replace the ailing Queen Elizabeth Hospital as he asked Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to also back the campaign.
Mr Mayhew, speaking at PMQs, signalled how the support for a new building was not confined to the neighbouring consistuency of North West Norfolk represented by James Wild.
It extends, he told Parliament, to his constitency of Broadlands as well as North Norfolk, Norwich North, Mid Norfolk, South West Norfolk, Huntingdon, North West Cambridgeshire and South Holland and The Deepings.
The QEH is an ailing hospital with more than 3,000 wooden and metal props holding up the building.
It is hoped the town will be first in line for a new hospital when funding is announced.
