Twelve people are safe, after being rescued from the Main Ridge Forest, in Tobago.<br /><br />They are said to be THA personnel who became trapped in the forest, on Thursday.<br /><br />When they did not return home, on Thursday evening their families contacted the Tobago Emergency Operations Centre.<br /><br />Authorities then launched a search and rescue operation.<br /><br />Elizabeth Williams was there as they left the Forest, on Friday afternoon.
