Police Scotland has seized more than £500,000 worth of class A drugs from a vehicle in Glasgow. <br /><br />Officers stopped a 34-year-old male driver on Wallacewell Road in Balornock and found around 9 kg of cocaine. <br /><br />The man was subsequently arrested.<br /><br />Next up, the emergency services were called to Napiershall Lane on 1 March to tackle a late night blaze.<br /><br />Police arrived at the scene along with six fire appliances, and shut off the road until it was deemed safe. <br /><br />The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were no casualties.<br /><br />And finally, Glasgow City Council’s plans for the redevelopment of George Square include a play area and water feature.<br /><br />While these are still in the exploration stage, councillors are set to to discuss the designs in March. <br />
