This is the moment a snowmobiler narrowly-avoided injury as he was forced to dodge - a charging MOOSE.<br /><br />Jeremiah Bigelow was snowmobiling with his brother, son and other friends in Palisades, Idaho, USA, when they came face-to-face with the huge creature, who ran straight at them.<br /><br />Footage begins with the moose lingering on the snowy path looking towards Jeramiah.<br /><br />His brother is seen trying to draw the animal towards him away from Jeremiah and his son.<br /><br />Eventually, the moose turns around and suddenly charges at Jeremiah's brother at high-speed.<br /><br />He tries to start his snowmobile to make a getaway, but is forced to jump off in the nick of time, narrowly avoiding injury.<br /><br />Jeremiah said: "A moose came onto the trail and got in between us. I had my son and two other friends with us. <br /><br />"We stopped, but moments before I started filming, the moose charged us but stopped 20 feet from us. <br /><br />"That scared me, moose are huge and I had put my snowmachine in reverse but I could not back up because my boy was right behind me on an older sled that did not have reverse. <br /><br />"My brother saw what had happened and was trying to draw the moose’s attention away from us.<br /><br />"Well… he did. It looked like the moose was going to step off the trail into the woods for a minute, but it changed its mind and did a sudden charge. <br /><br />"My brother thought he could hit the throttle and get out of there but the engine died when he did. <br /><br />"Had my brother not jumped when he did, he would have been crushed under the full weight of the moose against the handlebars. <br /><br />"I raced ahead in case he attacked again, but the moose decided it was done and ran off as I approached. <br /><br />"Lesson learned… brother should have continued on and given it more space. <br /><br />"We should have gotten our sleds turned around as well. Bad scenario with an okay outcome."<br /><br />Jeremiah confirmed that his brother and the moose both escaped without injury.<br /><br />The incident happened on March 5
