ICAC finds no evidence of corruption in John Barilaro's appointment to US trade job

In May 2022, the former deputy premier was awarded the $500,000-a-year trade commissioner role in New York. Barilaro was due to begin the job in July 2022, but gave up the position just two weeks after it was announced.
