Rio Ferdinand was asked for his take on Gary Lineker’s tweet where he compared the new small boats bill to Nazi Germany.<br /><br />The sports broadcaster tweeted that the new legislation which aims to deter illegal channel crossings is “immeasurably cruel.”<br /><br />He said the plan was phrased “in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s.”<br /><br />As he stepped outside of 10 Downing Street, Ferdinand was asked if he supported his fellow sportsman’s statement.<br /><br />He simply replied: “Not seen it.”
