A wild elephant in Thailand left the passengers of a car giggling after it appeared to take on the role of a checkpoint officer.<br /><br />This video, filmed by an occupant of the car, shows the huge animal standing in the middle of the road in rural Chachoengsao province.<br /><br />Once it noticed the vehicle, the elephant walked directly over to the group, appearing to conduct a checkpoint inspection.<br /><br />After a few moments had passed, the elephant, apparently happy with its stop, carried on and sent the car on its way.
