T-Mobile to Buy Mint Mobile , From Ryan Reynolds.<br />CNN reports that T-Mobile made the announcement on March 15.<br />The $1.35 billion deal includes Mint Mobile's parent company, Ka'ena Corporation, international calling service Ultra Mobile and Plum, a wireless wholesaler.<br />Reynolds will retain his "creative role on behalf of Mint," according to a press release.<br />Mint Mobile debuted in 2016 <br />with the intention of providing an <br />"affordable, premium wireless" service.<br />Reynolds bought a minority <br />ownership stake in 2019.<br />At the time, he said he was <br />"excited to champion a more practical approach to the most essential technology.".<br />Reynolds took to Twitter to announce the deal with T-Mobile, saying, "I only want the best for Mint Mobile customers.
