Today marks the annual commemorate of international day of the forests.<br /><br />At an event on San Fernando Hill, the National Gas Company of T&T officially handed over hectares of reforested land to the forestry division within the ministry of agriculture.<br /><br />Speaking to reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh, the conservator of forests and minister within the ministry of agriculture both urged people to consider the significance of forests to life before they move to light back yard or garden fires.
