Elle le sent, elle en a l'intime conviction : Lola est sa propre fille. Obsédée par ce sentiment inexplicable, elle cherche à en savoir plus sur l'enfant.<br />En s'introduisant dans la vie de la fillette, Elsa rencontre sa mère, Claire Vigneaux, qui s'inquiète du comportement étrange de cette femme qui rode autour de sa fille.<br />Elsa est-elle folle ? Dangereuse ? Mais que s'est-il passé six ans auparavant ?
