Avian flu has been circling the globe for more than a year, with Canada's own spread occurring since late 2021.<br /><br />While it's highly infectious to bird populations, the risk to the general population remains low.<br /><br />But as Katherine Ward reports, the way the virus is behaving — including its spread to other animals — has experts saying it may be time to produce a vaccine for humans.
