Description<br /><br />Calgary job hunters face "competitive" market, "disconnect" with employers amid ongoing search<br /><br /><br />Calgary is leading the way with the highest unemployment rate in the country and countless are looking for work. <br /><br />Some employers are asking potential employees to go to great lengths to fill the position. <br /><br />Spirit River is a recent university graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies. <br /><br />"Once you get an interview, you have to do the pre-screening, the interview and then for a lot of them they ask you to do something else like a written submission, or like a presentation." River said. <br /><br />As Gaby Rios reports, there is a disconnect between employers and skilled workers.
