Oliver Browning<br />Thu, 30 March 2023 at 10:23 am GMT-4·1-min read<br />A man has been found guilty of murdering nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool last year after he chased a convicted drug dealer into her home.<br /><br />Thomas Cashman, of West Derby, admitted being a “high-level” cannabis dealer but denied being the gunman in the incident, which also injured Olivia’s mother Cheryl Korbel, 46, and Joseph Nee, the intended target, in Dovecot on 22 August.<br /><br />The 34-year-old was handed the verdict at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday 30 March, following a three-and-a-half week trial.<br /><br />Cashman was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Nee, wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Ms Korbel, and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
