Holly Patrick<br />Fri, 31 March 2023 at 11:13 am GMT-4<br />Dior transformed Mumbai’s historic Gateway of India monument into a runway on Thursday, 30 March, for the showcase of their 2023 pre-fall collection.<br /><br />Models wore silk dresses, evening coats and sari-inspired skirts with references to traditional Indian silhouettes, with many sporting strings of pearls around their necks for creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s collection.<br /><br />“I personally wanted to celebrate and showcase the incredible knowledge India offers to the international world of fashion,” Chiuri said.
