Gwyneth Paltrow won her controversial ski crash trial and has been awarded $1 in damages.<br /><br />The verdict was announced Thursday afternoon, with the jury deciding that she is not at fault in her 2016 collision with retired doctor Terry Sanderson. <br /><br />Paltrow, 50, was seen smiling after hearing the news, while Sanderson, 76, shook his head in defeat. <br /><br />The Oscar winner was at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, with husband Brad Falchuk, his two children and her own kids — daughter Apple and son Moses — when the incident occurred. <br /><br />Three years later, Sanderson accused Paltrow of leaving him with a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs and a loss of enjoyment of life and alleged that she simply “got up, turned and skied away” — all of which she denied.
