A man and a woman have died after a severe fire ripped through a house in the early hours of this morning (Monday, April 3).<br /><br />Emergency services were called to Croxdene Avenue in Bloxwich, Walsall, West Mids., where the pair were found in a critical condition at 2.28am.<br /><br />Despite the efforts of medics, they were both pronounced dead at the scene and investigators are now examining the cause of the fatal blaze.<br /><br />West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, two paramedic officers, the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic.
