CTV shows the two men enter the store at around 3pm on Tuesday (4/4) and pretend to start browsing the shelves.<br /><br />They then began piling expensive products into bags, but Domonique bravely blocked the door with her body to prevent them getting away.<br /><br />One of the yobs punched Domonique in the ribs but the footage shows she carried on tackling the thieves.<br /><br />The crooks finally dropped the bag with around £800 worth of goods inside but fled with around £200 worth of smellies.<br /><br />Domonique, who has worked at the shop for 14 years, said: "They came in looking like<br />normal customers, I greeted them like I would any customer.<br /><br />"We've had pickpockets before but I wasn't expecting to be attacked.<br /><br />"It was 100 per cent adrenaline which made me fight back - it was a fight or flight instinct and I chose to fight.<br /><br />"I still don't know if I am impressed with myself or just stupid.<br /><br />"After the first guy punched me, I don't think they were expecting me to carry on trying to stop them.<br /><br />"But I couldn't just let them go."<br /><br />After the thieves ran off, Domonique was treated by checked over by her husband Nicholas, who is a nurse.<br /><br />Domonique added: “It shouldn’t be that you have to make it as hard as possible for people to get into your shop to deter the few who are causing havoc."<br /><br />"It should never have happened in the first place.<br /><br />"But if I hadn't put the fight up, and they had got away, they would have seen us as an easy target to do it again and again."<br /><br />West Mercia Police have launched an investigation into the robbery.<br /><br />A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers attended and a thorough search of the area was carried out but the suspects were not located.<br /><br />"An investigation, including the review of local CCTV footage, is ongoing."
